The world news media shows the problems, but does not offer any solutions.

Political candidates point out the problems and propose canned responses and solutions (predetermined comments to common questions). But all of their proposed solutions are the same campaign rhetoric* that is used in every election. Incumbent (already elected) politicians know that their promises are impossible to fulfill within the current laws and government protocol that is allowed, justified, and accepted as part of the current U.S. Constitution or under the Charter of the United Nations.** If it were possible for any of their proposed changes, then change would be made. Few, if any, of their promises are ever fulfilled.

the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques; language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect on its audience, but often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content: (e.g., all we hear from politicians is empty rhetoric.)

The most successful politicians are those who speak the best, the most, the most eloquent, charismatic, and the ones who have mastered rhetoric.

Business owners (the wealthy) recognize the problems and hope that the politicians whom they support through campaign and other donations will know how to solve the problems without ruining their flow of money. And, politicians recognize the need of the combinations that must be made in secret between them and the business leaders of the world to keep the economy moving, albeit usually towards their own pocketbooks. Regardless, that’s how the world really works!

Politicians and business owners are NOT bad people. There is no worldwide conspiracy of a few wealthy people to control the world. On the contrary, most wish they knew what to do. The problems languish because they don’t know what to do.

Politicians and business people WANT to solve the problems. The United Nations is a noble effort that was incorporated into world politics with very humane principles and desires:

CHAPTER I: PURPOSES AND PRINCIPLES

Article 1 The Purposes of the United Nations are:

1. To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;
2. To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace;
3. To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion; and
4. To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends.

If the United Nations is a good thing, then WHY are there so many problems? WHY does the world seem to be spiraling out of control, in spite of the desires and efforts of well-intentioned people?

Answer: Because they do not have any viable solutions that will work with the current economic laws of Earth’s sovereign nations, which fight (often literally through war) to remain sovereign and maintain their nationalistic identity. 

“Sovereign” means to reign with supreme and ultimate power.

Question? How can there be a “unification” (United) of nations when each wants to remain sovereign? It can never work. And it does not work. And it will never work unless the people of the world give up their nationalities, races, and borders to Earth’s ENTIRE HUMAN RACE. …

… Stop … THumP^® accepts that this is not a reality right now. To envision a united human race with the current leaders and the individual ideologies of 7.5 billion people is futile and a useless hope … at least for now.

From time to time, we will publish a current news story that expresses a problem or a crisis. We will then offer the solutions in short and clear explanations. Only then will the world be left without any excuse that its people cannot choose an option that is good for humanity and will work.

For example,

The news media reports that there is a current humanitarian crisis on the Macedonian-Greek border. Refugees from Syria and other countries are trying to escape war and death by moving into Greece, a socialist country on the brink of economic disaster. In fact, the economic situation in Greece is so bad, that the newly elected Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, recently resigned. Tsipras, once he got in office and in power, realized that there wasn’t anything he could do to solve Greece’s economic problems. Greece currently has an unemployment rate of over 25%–that’s a lot of people sitting around without anything to do.

Solution to both problems:

The United Nations asks for a non-interest credit line from the World Bank,* reminding the World Bank of the reason for which it (the World Bank) exists:

“The term ‘World Bank’ refers only to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). The term ‘World Bank Group’ incorporates five closely associated entities that work collaboratively toward poverty reduction: the World Bank (IBRD and IDA), and three other agencies, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).”

The credit line will be called: Greek Refugee Placement Fund (GRPF).

Instead of giving the cash directly to the Greek government, which surely it would misuse for its own needs, four sets of vouchers are issued DIRECTLY TO EACH REFUGEE by GRPF:

1) 1 monthly housing voucher; 2) 30 monthly food vouchers; 3) 1 limited monthly clothing voucher and 4 clothing maintenance vouchers; 4) an unlimited and unrestricted health/mental care voucher. These vouchers are only good in Greece. [Compare to our current HumanECard^® concept.]

The United Nations issues a direct mandate and order (basically creating an international law) that the Greeks cannot inflate the current prices of Greek goods and services more than 1.5% annum, making it a crime against humanity if they do. Also, the Greek people are informed that any fraud, graft, or corruption that is associated in redeeming the GRPF vouchers, will be prosecuted as a crime against humanity.

Refugee Anakah has three minor dependents (four human beings total). Anakah is given: 1-monthly housing voucher; 30 daily (on a monthly basis) food vouchers; 4 monthly limited clothing vouchers and 4 clothing maintenance vouchers; and 4 health/mental care vouchers.

Anakah enters Greece with her vouchers. She goes to any hotel, motel, Bed and Breakfast, apartment complex, anywhere that there exists safe and secure housing where all the utilities and maintenance fees are included, and presents her monthly housing voucher. The voucher is redeemable by the landlord writing in the current and non-inflated price for the expected rent of the particular domicile and depositing the voucher in any Greek bank as cash (the bank will be responsible for redeeming the voucher for actual money from the GRPF fund). Of course, hotels are going to be more expensive than apartments, and will be redeemed for their going rate. Hotels can refuse any tenant and set any length of tenancy. People generally do not like to live in a hotel-motel environment, and when able, Anakah will be looking for a more roomy and comfortable place for her and her three children.

Refugee Anakah is now settled in a place of security. She goes to the closest Greek market to buy food with her vouchers. Each day she uses 1 food voucher to purchase the food that she needs for herself and her family. If she doesn’t have anywhere to prepare her food, she can use the voucher at ANY Greek restaurant, at any all-you-can-eat smorgasbord, or give it to a local farmer for what that farmer is offering for food. The restaurant, fast food business, farmer, whomever, provides the food, will write the amount of the actual purchase on the voucher and present it as a cash deposit to their bank.

Anakah then goes to a clothing outlet and buys clothes that she needs for herself and her children. These clothing vouchers are limited to an amount reasonable for the purchase of basic clothing for a human being. Because each of her children have their own vouchers, she can afford to buy them basic clothing each month. The 4 clothing maintenance vouchers will allow her to have the clothes washed once a week.

Anakah takes her children to the nearest clinic for a checkup, to the nearest Dentist to fill cavities, or seeks therapy from a local therapist, etc. The doctor, hospital, healthcare facility, dentist, therapist, etc. will provide verification of the cost of the health/mental services provided and submit a bill to their bank as a cash.

CAN ANYONE NOT IMAGINE WHAT THIS WOULD DO TO THE GREEK ECONOMY? There wouldn’t be enough workers in Greece, let alone the 25% of them that are unemployed, to satisfy the needs of the economic infrastructure to support the influx of people with MONEY TO SPEND!

Soon, the Greeks will be hiring the Refugees as employees. And … other countries will see the success of the program and BEG THAT THE REFUGEES WITH THE ISSUED VOUCHERS come to their country and support their economy!

REMEMBER, anyone, any entity, that increases their prices over 1.5%, or who fraudulently reports a good or service provided that wasn’t actually provided, will be charged with a crime against humanity and receive the stiffest possible, humane punishment. The news media can spread this news and let the people know of the possibility and punishment for these crimes.

The question will be asked: Who is going to fund the World Bank with all the money that will be needed for GRPF? The answer is simple and clear:

THE EXACT SAME ENTITIES THAT BAILED OUT THE U.S. ECONOMY, SAVING IT FROM DISASTER, both in the 1930′s and 2008. (Educate yourself on how the U.S. economy was saved at these times, and you will have the right, educated answer.)
