The Humanity Party®’s official response to the election of Donald Trump as POTUS

Because the Executive Branch of the United States government is restricted in its powers, the Humanity Party^® (THumP^®) gives little concern to the outcome of the election of Donald Trump in regards to the daily lives of the American citizens. But we are very concerned about the influence and control that Mr. Trump will have in the affairs of the rest of the world. We believe his election will further undermine peace on Earth and goodwill towards all humans.

THumP^® projects that both domestic (US) and foreign terrorism will increase exponentially to the more hardened and conservative stance that the United States government will now take. Not only will domestic incidences of violence against law enforcement increase, due to the increasing mistrust in government, but foreign ideologies will increase their ability to recruit the disenfranchised to their hate-based groups that fight against Western-backed governments.

Also, because the Judicial Branch lacks one Justice, the appointment of which will lean the SCOTUS towards the political and moral views of the majority, Republican-conservative values will soon interpret law unilaterally and prejudicially. Whereas THumP^® promotes strict control of the rights of citizens, outside of a “well-regulated militia,” to bear arms, the Trump presidency will appoint a Justice that usurps and undermines the opinion of the minority Justices and of THumP^®’s position. The United States is about to experience an unprecedented increase in gun violence unlike anything ever experience during the known history of the human race.

Of a much greater concern, the Republican, conservative political party retains its control over the Legislative Branch of government. The Republican party controls both Houses of Congress, which includes the powerful U.S. Senate. While the American people were emotionally involved in and concentrating on the race for the White House, Republican Senators and Congresspersons were elected or re-elected throughout the United States. The Legislative Branch of the U.S. government is solely responsible for the laws that directly effect the daily lives of the American people, which directly affects the economic situation of the suffering masses living throughout the world.

One positive thing that came from Mr. Trump’s election, is that unilateral partisanship will allow the U.S. branches of government to work more efficiently in incorporating American values into the social structure of humanity. No more government gridlock, if the Republicans vote as a block. However, THumP^® is greatly concerned with the type of conservative values that the Republicans will now ram down the world’s throat. Conservative, free market, capitalistic values reinforce the core structure of the Republican party. This will lead to increased poverty, inequality, and human hopelessness throughout the world.

Luckily for the American people, marijuana was legalized in more States throughout the U.S.. Now, the hopelessness in and disgust of their own government can be assuaged by the feeling of euphoria resulting in the use of marijuana. Instead of worrying about the declining state of the world, many will now be able to legally create an emotional feeling of, “Who cares?”

The Humanity Party^® has the solutions. We will continue to offer these solutions to the world. IF the people reject these sensible and uniting solutions, then we, as the people of the Humanity Party^® can at least “get high” knowing that we did everything within our power to create peace on Earth and goodwill towards all.
